Musicians from 18 countries and 16 Indian states are set to gather in Bengaluru for the Brillante Piano Festival. The festival, initiated by Naga pianist Khyochano TCK, highlights the city's strong sense of community and appreciation for diverse arts and cultures. Khyochano emphasizes the festival's aim of uniting participants from around the world towards a common vision. Beginning in 2017 in Nagaland, the festival has grown to include performances, workshops, competitions, and masterclasses spanning various music genres such as jazz, contemporary, and classical. The festival also features a platform for Specially Abled Musicians (SAM) to showcase their talent and promote inclusivity in the arts. Through events like a recent street piano showcase on Church Street, the festival demonstrates the power of music and art in connecting and engaging communities through creative expression.
